The Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter dedicates donations to providing information, support, & services for the more than 161,000 Georgians affected by Alzheimer’s in the 159 counties.  The Alzheimer's Association also provides information on living a brain-healthy lifestyle and research into the cause, treatments, preventions, and cure for Alzheimer’s.

 “Your registration fees will help make a difference in the lives of people living with Alzheimer’s disease and will support research to improve treatment, care and prevention.”

• 10 million Baby Boomers will develop Alzheimer’s in the United States
• Every 71 seconds someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in the United States
• Over 199,457 people battling the disease in the state of Georgia and over 60,000 in the Metro Atlanta area alone
• Alzheimer’s is expected to triple by the middle of the century making the annual cost of the disease soar to at least $375 billion
• Currently, there is no cure.

Transfers:

The request to transfer out of a race must be made 14 days or more prior to that scheduled event date.  No transfers will be allowed underneath this deadline.  There is a $30 fee to transfer the registration to another athlete.  The fee must be accompanied with an application from the new participate.

Wetsuits:
We won't know until race day if wetsuits will be allowed.

So bring your wetsuit!

Mandatory Bike Drop Off on September 18th. Drop bike off and pick up race packet between 12 - 7pm. This will be the only place to pick up your race packet.

•   Must have valid drivers license and current USAT card if you are member.
•   No one can pick up your packet except you.
•    No race day registration.

Event Timeline:

5:30am Park opens

7:15am Information will be given concerning start sequence and last minute course updates

7:30am Race starts

11:00pm  Awards ceremony begins

USA Triathlon Sanctioned:

This event is sanctioned by USAT, the national governing body for the sport of Triathlon. We suggest all our participants become familiar with USAT Rules and Regulations. Officials will be present enforcing these rules.

Georgia Multisports Productions for safety reason has established a course and race completion time lines as follows:

• Swim: 30 minutes
• Bike 1 and 1/2 hours or total of 2 hours of swim and bike
• Run: 45 minutes or total of 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete the race.

You may be ask to return your timing chip and will not receive an official time. If you choose to complete the event it will be without course security or support.

• Master's men and women - top three finisher
• Clydesdale (200+) and Athena - three deep.
• Relays - top three only.
• Top three overall men and women.
• Age group awards will be given three deep in men’s and women’s, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

Post Race: - Food, music, and tri door prizes available following awards ceremony.
